1. I’ve admitted to not being the coolest person on the planet. I’m a self-described travel nerd (and I’ve got the blog to prove it) with subscriptions to not one, but three travel magazines, while also maintaining a strict non-subscription-policy toward Cosmo, Glamour and the like. But I’ve kept my news junkie, political nerd side to a minimum on here, with the exception being when I spotted the CNN Express bus in Phoenix. However, yesterday I was tweeted by my favorite CNN news anchor TJ Holmes, second to only Christiane Amanpour! You can see the exchange above. Obviously I’m very sad that he is departing CNN for BET, a network that I don’t frequently turn to. But I think my sadness has been replaced by pure elation at his response to me. I’ll now end my nerding out.
