1. The view from SkyBar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood is not done justice by my little iPhone camera. But I think you can catch the drift. I was here covering an event for Variety’s VPage, but I’ve been here before and was glad to go back to get the nighttime panoramic views of LA. There’s almost nothing more entrancing than a city at night, especially one as complex, loud and at times obnoxious as LA. At night, with just the lights from the city shining, it looks beautiful and mystical. I can’t take my eyes off it.
If you have a chance to come here, I would suggest a weeknight, since it gets just as crowded as the LA streets on weekends.
