The city of Beverly Hills and Swarovski wish you a happy holiday season! Some things you just can’t make up.

I often get to attend amazing events and see celebs for my job. But this event was beyond. It was held at the home of Ron Burkle in Beverly Hills, and when the invite said home, it was being modest. Obviously a home in Beverly Hills is going to be a bit grandiose, but this one was phenomenal.
Not only did it look like a gorgeous Italian villa, complete with cobblestone, a rose garden, fountains and cypress trees, but it also had what I’ll call Kiddie Heaven.
There was a tiny carousel and a little house (which looked like Hanzel & Gretel’s) in a gated area to make it seem like it was its own property. A tiny table sat on the grass a ways from the clock with its tongue sticking out. The sign on the gate to Kiddie Heaven reads “Come into my garden and play.” It was perfect, whimsical and something any child would love to play in.

Although the traffic through Coldwater Canyon is a nightmare when I want to get home after a long day, it does allow for some real estate shopping. A girl can dream, right?
These photos were taken from my Blackberry, so the quality is pretty poor but the house I was taking a picture of is so monstrous you can undoubtedly see it. It looked more like a large museum to me, than an actual house people would live in. As I continued to inch my way home, I could see this
palacemansion had a lighted tennis court. As if any home is complete without one.Photography by me. April 2011.

While out and about one day I stumbled upon the famous Beverly Hills sign and one of my favorite things in Los Angeles, this vibrant statue of tulips right next to the sign. These two landmarks aren’t hard to miss, they’re right along Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
I spent a little time, had a photoshoot with the tulips and this was the outcome.

I know I’ve already posted a (very) similar photo, but I love this one I was able to capture with my friend’s camera. The mannequins seem to have attitudes, and who wouldn’t in the fierce, beaded frocks by Missoni. This photo was taken on Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills by me in January 2011.
