1. I don’t normally talk about my job, other than to say it’s fabulous. But this past weekend I attended one of the Golden Globes after parties, specifically the one thrown by the Weinstein Company. If you don’t live in LA or work in the industry or watch Entourage, you will most likely have no idea who Harvey Weinstein is or what the Weinstein Co. does. But all you have to know is that the Globes were a big night for them. Their movies The Artist, The Iron Lady and My Week With Marilyn all won Globes and they were celebrating to the max with crystal chandeliers, champagne flowing freely and celebs dressed to the nines laughing and chatting.

I saw Heidi Klum, Gerard Butler, Rob Lowe, Lindsay Lohan, Viola Davis, Cameron Diaz and of course the stars of my favorite film of the year “The Artist,” Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo and the director Michel Hazanavicius.

My night was epic, one I’ll never forget! Here are the only two pics I snapped on my little iPhone.

  2. I’m going to start taking more pictures of people in my travels. I think it’s really the people and the atmosphere (which includes the people) of the places I go that pulls me in, not just the amazing buildings and landscapes. Here are two of my favorite people pictures from my recent trip to Olvera Street in downtown LA.

Olvera Street is the oldest part of downtown LA and has been converted into a Mexican marketplace. We went on the weekend before Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday meant for remembering loved ones who have passed away, which was the perfect time to go. People had their faces painted for the occasion, kids were performing traditional Mexican dances and much more.
