One of my favorite places in the world, Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., recently opened up a delicious traditional Italian restaurant called Isabella’s Kitchen. Maybe my dad works for Grayhawk’s parent company, and maybe I spent a good chunk of my childhood years “learning” to golf on Grayhawk’s links, so maybe I’m biased. But, with or without that family history, Isabella’s has great food, yummy cocktails, and even better views.
Take a peek at Isabella’s, one of the best spots to dine if you’re in Scottsdale.

For those of you still enjoying your 4th of July four-day vacation, here are some shots of Boston, the Charles River, and fireworks from Cambridge.
After hearing tales of tight security, law enforcement officers with machine guns, and hoards of people, J and I decided to skip the Esplanade (where Boston holds its big 4th of July party) and spend the holiday on the Cambridge side of the river. It turns out this was the best decision we could have made. Though security was still present (FBI and BPD agents walking around wearing Kevlar vests), the atmosphere was relaxed and celebratory. Couldn’t have asked for a better 4th!
